The Panther girls basketball team overpowered the homestanding Central Bears with a suffocating first half defensive effort in route to a 59-5 victory. The Panthers played outstanding team defense throughout the night.
Leading the Panthers offense was junior Jazzy Henry with 20 points with junior Sydney Spaulding had 8 and senior Kate Harris added 7. The Panthers had 12 of 14 players score during the game.
Next up for the 8-3, 5-2 Panthers is a trip to Weeki Wachee Wednesday night. JV action starts at 6, with varsity to follow.
